ZIMBABWE – HARARE – Former junior Information minister Bright Matonga is struggling to dish out freebies to his various mistresses after he was sidelined from the gravy train by President Mugabe.
The not-so Bright Matonga ditched his wife Anne, who paid for his tuition while he was still in the UK, is now in a quandary, unable to pay out allowances to his mistresses.
He left his wife for Sharon Mugabe, a woman who ran the Zanu-PF advertising election campaign while Matonga was still deputy minister.
Sources say the two met while on business, and who says mixing a bit of business and pleasure is wrong?
But now that he has fallen from grace to grass, one by one, the women are ditching him. Sharon Mugabe has severed ties with him.
zimGossip can reveal that Bright has also been ditched by a very wealthy woman he has been dating, Zodwa Ngwenya.
She runs Trends, a designer boutique at Estgate Mall . Zodwa owns a luxurious mansion in Borrowdale Brooke and another in Hellensvale.
She inherited the wealth from her late husband who died in 2002. Zodwa has got two children – a daughter studying in Australia and a boy at Peterhouse.
Matonga got hooked with Zodwa in 2003 during his time at Zupco. Zodwa, at the advise of Matonga, has sold off her hotel in Hwange but she continues to make money.
Now the two have hit hard times amid reports Zodwa is complaining that Matonga has become an albatross around her neck.
The former deputy minister now in political wilderness is too proud to go back and beg his wife to take him back, our source said.

zodwa one silly whore, my teeth cringe at the mention of her name, she sponsors insurgence, can yu all pple believe that she stole bright from anne 2003, infected him with wat God knows killed her husband, bought him with her late husby inheritance, mothered a son with him, with no shame at all, after matonga ditched her after being told by zodwa’s friends that she slept with their husband, she was ruthless, hated her family, arrogant etc, she waived and went on a rampant to seek revenge, her target was bright for using her and sharon for snatching bright.. ahh, tsotsi, is it infect the nation or empower…. You so emotional, i personal think you are related to bright or sharon…dnt you think Anne has a right to choose which bitch she wants to sue? Zodwa has a right to help whom ever she wants desregarding where her source of riches came from.
