A 35-YEAR-OLD man from Mutare’s Dangamvura high-density suburb will live to regret his decision to dump a pregnant girlfriend after his manhood started to mysteriously shrink, leaving him in excruciating pain since the day he showed her the exit.
Brian Phiri of Number 28, N Section of Dangamvura, who is now left with just less than two centimetres, is now having difficulties when urinating.
A distraught Phiri offered The Weekender reporters to take sight of what now remains of his manhood.Shocked reporters were convinced that indeed, he had a big problem.
Phiri alleges that his predicament was because his estranged girlfriend was punishing him for refusing to marry her.He is now paying the price of ditching her, he believes.
“I was in love with Elizabeth Nyakwenda (20) of Mt Darwin and she fell pregnant around January this year. “She came to our place in Dangamvura, but I told her that I could not take her in since I am not employed and staying at my parents’ place.
“In fact, I told her to be patient and would marry her as soon as I sort out my things. She stayed at our place for about three days before she left for Mt Darwin in a huff.
‘The only thing she told me on her departure was that uchanditsvaga, unofunga kuti wakangwara. (You will look for me, you think you are clever). I then started feeling intense pain around my private parts late last month.
“My male organ started shrinking and as we speak I am no longer able to urinate properly. My testicles are also swelling. I realised that she had done something to punish me for refusing to marry her,” he said.
The two had been in love for the past two years.Although he admitted that he was in a fix, Phiri said he was eager to visit his ex-girlfriend in Mt Darwin , apologise to her and possibly marry her if that is the only way he can save his life.
“Mwana wamai inini ndaakufa, ndirikurwadziwa. (My brother, I am dying, I am in pain). I really need to go there and talk to her. I know she will understand me.
“I messed up everything, but I know my girlfriend loved me so much. I am prepared to sort out everything and start our relationship all over again.
“I am confident that she will understand me and I am now ready to marry her,” he said. Before he came to The Weekender to bare it all, Phiri first went to Dangamvura Police Station to seek help. Police officers who examined him confirmed that it was their first time to handle such a bizarre case.
At the police station he was told that he could only get help from well-wishers.On being asked if his problem was not because of sexually transmitted diseases that attack the reproductive system, Phiri said he had gone to the hospital on several occasions, but was told that it was not an STD.
“I went to the hospital and they told me that I was suffering from cancer which they said was causing my genitals to shrink.
“What I am suffering from is not cancer or whatever STI you might think of.
“I have been fixed. Chivanhu ichi. My only remedy is that I should find money for my bus fare to go and look for my girlfriend and plead with her. Without that I might die soon,” he said, asking for a glass of water.
Commenting on the issue, the president of the Zimbabwe Traditional Healers’ Association (Zinatha), Professor Gordon Chavhunduka linked it to black magic.
“We have heard so many cases of women fixing their husbands or vice-versa. This type of black magic originated from Malawi and we have quite a number of people here in Zimbabwe who possess it,” he said.
When asked the possible remedy Phiri could get, Prof Chavhunduka said he should look for his girlfriend and plead with her.
“The only option for him is to look for his girlfriend and plead with her to reverse his condition,” he said.Phiri promised to come back to share with our readers what would have happened in Mt Darwin.

Kana zvaramba, ndinoti ITS BETTER KUFA MESE. Find the girl. The other remedy is to seek God. Nothing is impossible with God. In such circumstances, n'anga inenge yapa mushonga kana makuitsvaga inenge iriparibe yafa. So the best remedy is to find God. He never dies. He is there today, tomorrow, and forever. Amen.

This has nothing to do with da girl, its a sickness that can be fixed by having a simple operation. Do not waste time it might get worse. Why do we always think witchcraft etc. Go to school guys its about time.
