A FIFTEEN-year-old boy from Honde Valley was this week arrested by the police after he allegedly lured a seven-year-old girl to a banana plantation, where he gave her beer and raped her while in a drunken stupor.
Manicaland police spokesman, Inspector Brian Makomeke, said the boy — whose name cannot be disclosed because he is a minor — left the girl unconscious after committing the offence.
“The incident happened on March 14 at North Compound situated in the Eastern Highlands Plantations of Honde Valley. What happened is that the boy approached the girl, who was in company of her elder sister aged 11.
“He asked her to accompany him to a banana plantation, which was just nearby. The girl agreed. While in the plantation, the boy gave the girl some beer, which she drank. She got drunk and he then raped her once,” he said.
Insp Makomeke said the offence came to light after the girl’s father was informed by the other sister.
“He searched for his daughter and found her unconscious in the banana plantation. She was taken to Hauna Hospital, where it was confirmed that she had been raped.”

the guy is educated heyyyyyyy how could he convince the girl from nowhere to go to a forest. however he is so wrong.
