strong>A MURAMBINDA businessman is suing a school headmaster and a female teacher for alleged indecent behaviour after he caught the duo in a compromising position in his nightclub.
The female teacher, Virginia Mukurunge (34) from Murambinda B Primary School, is alleged to have been involved in an extra-marital affair with the widowed headmaster of Holy Family Primary School only identified as Chakara (42).
What raised the ire of the nightclub owner was that the two lovebirds performed a sex act in full view of other patrons.The businessman, Mr Elijah Mawoyo, is claiming in his suit that the act tarnished the reputation of his nightclub.
Mukurunge is, however, denying the allegations and is accusing Mr Mawoyo of harbouring a grudge against her.The two are believed to have previously had a relationship.
“The two (Mawoyo and Mukurunge) had an affair years back. He used to spoil her, buying her groceries and he went further to build her a three-roomed cottage which she is currently living in.”
“She is denying the allegations, saying that Mawoyo is jealous of her current affair,” said a source who is privy to the goings-on.
Manicaland police spokesperson Inspector Brian Makomeke confirmed that the incident was reported, adding that it was the talk of Murambinda Growth Point.
He said the bizarre case was now being handled by the Ministry of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture.“Murambinda police are aware of the incident, but it has been referred to the Ministry of Education,” he said.
The two are scheduled to appear at Murambinda Magistrates’ Court on April 20.
